Rajshri Productions' Love U…Mr. Kalakaar! is an upcoming Hindi film. The movie starring with Tusshar Kapoor and Amrita Rao in the lead role and others are Ram Kapoor, Madhoo, Prem Chopra, Kiran Kumar, Yateen Kayekar, Jai Kalra, Kunal Kumar, and introduces Prashant Ranyal and Snigdha Akolkar. This is the first film in which Tusshar Kapoor and Amrita Rao appear together. The film is directed by S Manasvi, who is an alumnus of Film and Television Institute of India. The music is composed by Sandesh Shandilya lyrics penned by Manoj 'Muntashir'. The film is slated for release on the 13th of May 2011.
Sahil (Tusshar Kapoor), is a happy-go-lucky artist cartoonist, draws inspiration from everyday seen objects. He designs characters for animation shows, advertisement, print media and mascots for corporate firms. He belives no burdens, no boundaries, no expectations, no pressures, just freedom in life. Ritu (Amrita Rao), is a management trainee ans she is obsessed with financial numbers. She then falls in love with Sahil. Will she help him "sketch" the new rules of business? Sonam Kapoor Refuses to Step Into Sonakshi Sinha's Shoes
Sonam Kapoor was offered Sonakshi Sinha's role in the Tamil remake of Salman Khan headlining Dabangg, but she declined the offer citing health concerns.
Sonam, 25, has had two major sicknesses within one year.
"Yes, I'm not doing the film. There are so many films that I've rejected that went on to do amazingly well at the box-office. The Tamil Dabangg could be one of them. And it wasn't because of dad that I nixed the offer but because I just don't have the dates," Sonam told HT.
"This was a big project and I didn't want to make a commitment and then be hard-pressed for time," she added. "After the recent health scare, I want to space my work out, do things aaraam se. I don't have to be a part of the rat race and do a 100-metre dash everyday!"
Sonam is currently filming for Pankaj Kapoor's Mausam with Shahid Kapoor in Switzerland. The film is close to wrapping.
She will later head to Murmansk in Russia to film for Abbas-Mustan's Players.
Sonam has not signed any other films apart from these and has no pending releases.
There are reports that Sonam will next feature in a remake of Freaky Friday being produced by her father Anil Kapoor. Madhuri Dixit was offered the role of Sonam's mother in the film but she found the script underwhelming and declined.
A Disney production, Freaky Friday (2003) was based on the novel of the same name by Mary Rodgers. It stars Lindsay Lohan as Anna Coleman and Jamie Lee Curtis as her mother. In the film their bodies are switched due to an enchanted Chinese fortune cookie.
Sonam will make her Cannes red carpet debut this month as L'Oreal brand ambassador. She will walk the red carpet on May 15.
Other Indians walking the red carpet include Aishwarya Rai, also as L'Oreal brand ambassador, on Day one and two of the festival on May 11 and 12th. Freida Pinto will represent L'Oreal at the amfAR (The American Foundation for AIDS Research) dinner and after-party May 19. Minissha Lamba will attend the premiere of Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris. She has also been invited for the after party. Mallika Sherawat will make her third appearance at Cannes.
